Meet the Visionary Behind Tideline PhotoLabs

Beginning in 1989, my late Mom, began Tideline Labradors as a family-run kennel located in Suffolk County, NY, which has been breeding English show type Labrador Retrievers, owned, loved, responsibly bred and beautifully presented.

Throughout the years, the Labrador Retrievers have been integral to our family. These dogs would share the fun of living and the devoted spirit that is characteristic of the breed. The mission was to provide to families a loving Labrador puppy that would grow in size, that would wag their tail, play fetch, bring in twigs from the yard, be mischievious, and that would always be hungry. But most of all, a Labrador Retriever most endearing trait is as a loyal companion. My Mom, was so fond of this breed that I have three of my own, Gatsby, Ginger and Roxy. This has inspired me to take photos of the natural world in which we live, and always taking photos of my pals in one way or another.

A Labrador Retriever begins their day through a reminder as just how hungry they are and if you don’t get up when they want, they will give you a dirty look until their demands are met. These awesome creatures never have a bad day. Their eyes always appear fixated on you and the smootches in which they give to make you aware that they appreciate you as a friend. You will never have a better one! They are always happy,loyal, joyful, exuberant, wagging their tails, sitting on your shoes, getting in your way, always begging for you to go out and take them for a walk, throw them the ball, get dirty with them! Join in the fun, because they will implore you to play along. Communication is through Bark! Bark! Bark! You have to learn their lingo and when you do, you have mastered their communication system!

My photography journey began with my love of Labrador Retrievers, where they wag their tail and are always happy to see you. Daily walks have allowed me to get out in our natural world and enjoy life! I have never seen Labs have a bad day, they are always there for you! This is the way I want to live the rest of my life, never having a bad day! Hence the transformation of what began as a kennel, is now a venue to highlight my photography. Tideline PhotoLabs was created to share photos of our natural world!
 

My camera is used to capture our natural world and the creatures that dwell in it, so that I can paint a story. Like my Mom who so loved taking photos of her Labrador Retrievers, my photography goals is to share with all, the memories which we hold dear to our heart where my camera captures a moment that is frozen in time.
